The Story

Sometimes the reason for starting a remodel is not what we expect. Jason's client was having some allergy issues with the carpet that had been in the home for decades. Rather than just replace the carpet, she decided that changing them out to hardwood floors would make more sense. And, like happens, this project turned into a full-blown remodel of the kitchen, master bathroom and small updates in the rest of the home. Her style is clear - contemporary with a slight Asian feel. Jason focused on the natural grain of the walnut cabinetry, beautifully elegant custom tile and a textured glass in the upper cabinets. In the master bathroom, Jason opted for a clean contemporary feel, again anchored with the walnut cabinetry. The floating vanity is mimicked in the shower with a floating bench. For an artistic touch, Jason had a custom etched glass door made for the water closet. Industrial hardware completes the overall contemporary feel.
